In a Coffin Built for Two

My first breath was alone.

My first cry was an echoing plea

I knew right from the start,

there was a one for me

I haven’t found you in the crowd,

but I promise to find you yet.

and when I see your face,

it will be the one I won’t forget

I’ll seem to glide towards you.

Like an angel from above.

my halo a bit broken

but my eyes still screaming love

and together we’ll make memories.

and show them all what the world needs to see.

A picture to grow old with years

and the person never changing

Within our hands we hold a will to love.

and when we find them close enough…

we’ll hold each others

and give in to our will to BE loved

Until death and after

My love, my life - it’s true

We’ll drift into eternity

in a coffin built for two….
