Summer is coming, and with it, a never ending list of “to-do’s”. Family vacations, outings with the church, work and leisure…Its all time consuming and even stressful at times, right? Between the long sighs and expressions of verbal disgust, find time to thank God for life. After all, he gave you breath to breathe (even if it is a sigh) So be thankful - and don’t forget to be still every once in a while and KNOW he is God…Even in business.
Rest and Blessings,

Blessing The Nations
When my knees are black from bruises, until the world fades as it chooses, till love gains back what evil loses. Then will I rest in the arms of him, who paid the price and bought my sin. The one who gives life back to dead or dying souls. Cry out! Let go, let God take hold! You past is shattered glass, each painful memory sharper than the last, but your doubt has been cast into the sea of irony. Rejoice! You’re free! And free indeed! Until I feel the need to plead, until redemption comes for me, until the day that angels sing. Then will I rest in the arms of the king. Coup De Grace, I scream.

Blessing The Nations
“She sits by me…staring out into what I reveal…
clouds or better days. She leans upon my seal.
She wishes she…could get out of her cell, into her right mind…
no matter what the weathers like,
she would rather be free…but instead she’s staring into me.
She traces with her finger the desires of her heart,
but does not think that others can see…her life has fallen apart.
The lone rose… she holds, petals one by one fall to endless time.
Beyond me she sees nothing beautiful…just hate…and sin…and grime.
Most days she looks depressed…..crying floods of rain…
the lights go out, I hear some words… and sense a release of pain….”

Blessing The Nations Healing The Hurt
His thundering roar shakes mountains and their beholders.
Shadows cringe when they feel his silent breath.
His words warm an arctic heart - or colder!
And causes the heart to beat after death.
On his one word a backslider follows a previous plan.
And his angry shout could end the wars of man.
His soft-loving tone shows a colorful range.
And his powerful voice frees all in chains.
But the most important one, some may find strange…
His whispers draws the sinners change.

Healing The Hurt
I pray Lord, not for the faith of a mustard seed to move mountains,
but the faith of a mountain to move nations.
The faith you gave Noah in your long intense conversations.
The same you gave Moses’ mother when she sent him down the Nile.
The faith Joshua had when the Israelites were in the desert for a while.
The faith you gave Daniel in the lions den.
The faith that arose in the furnace with the three men.
What if we had faith in modern day society?
Prayer in school, abortions made illegal, churches overflowing?
No one looking at ones color to call them people.
So Lord I ask now that you help my faith grow, and my works along with it.
Give me faith and strength to live not of the world but to live to change it.

“All was at peace when I heard the call…of the freedom-less slaves, one and all. “Justice! Liberty! Freedom! Is what we need if you wish to grant our lives another day, and now we plea…HELP US! HELP US! Were desperate and trying to ourselves with our chains! We cry from new struggles while the old ones cause pain! He has us bound and gasping for a breath that’s not toxic. Uncles, sisters, friends, all have a gun to their skull and each cocks it. We’ve made idols of stone and sacrificed our time to them, we’ve bathed in innocent blood and laughed at our sins! WE need you now that’s why we’re on our knees, WE want to come clean, it seems like a dream but we count by nations and deaths come in three! SAVE US! SAVE US!……”

Blessing The Nations Healing The Hurt
The shadow of the cross is where I found immortal love
Embrace my heart…entrance my soul….
Fill my being make me whole….
And send my thanks to God above…
The shadow of the cross, a steeple tall holds heavens trophy
Where prayers rise and burdens lost…
A token of monumental cost…
As empty souls gain what they’re hoping…
The shadow of the cross, used to express but with all meaning gone!
Calvary, Irony, infamy, melancholy!
Dejected by blinded minds………. return to me!
Signify in truth again! rebuild from ashes, prior morning’s dawn.

Healing The Hurt
Dream like tomorrow is forever.
Dream like today is your last.
Dream like yesterdays failure never happened. Â
Dream like change is inches away.
Dream like hate is miles from home.
Dream like rejection is never the issue of where you go.
Dream like your imagination ran wild.
Dream like mockery is locked in its cage.
Dream like evil is all but extinct.
Dream like encouragement is alive and singing Â
Dream like your last breathe is now at this moment.
Dream like the critics have lost their voice. Â
