Yeah, I know…..Things have come up from here and there…the life of a high schooler is fairly busy! Plus, I’m playing softball, there’s ACT studying…liscense, job….friends (but who has time for those anymore?)
I’m sorry,
slow but steady.
Sounds weird. Actually, it’s a poetry group at my school. I’m thinking about joining it - it would teach me how to perform my poetry instead of just letting others read it. At the end of March - I would have the opportunity to get in front of the whole school and perform two of my poems. Rock on, right? No, I’m scared to death. Nevertheless, I’ll join anyways - it could change my life - and that would be interesting.
My poetry book is finished! Well, at least the construction part - now for all the building codes and interior work. I’m working with details now. I’ll be nice and give you the details. The ebook is in Microsoft Word form and has 102 pages - 100 poems and a biography. The poems are arranged in random order, but are the oldest ones I’ve written, some written even in ‘04 - my next ebook will be some of my newer or recent poems (from 06′ to present.) Who knows - maybe my third one will even be a paperback. This book in particular will be somewhere around $8, I haven’t decided yet. You’ll be able to pay for this with a paypal account. Continue to pray for me in between your Christmas wishes and hopeful new year resolutions - and - thank you.
My ebook will be put together and organized by this weekend. Thank God!
Last week, my computer started acting strange - I took it to my computer geek pastor (Thanks ceej XD) and he told me what was wrong with it, happened to be the thing I feared the most; a virus. Ick! So now my computer, with MOST of my poetry saved on it…must be rebooted, and to save all of my poetry it’ll take a couple hours of hard work. Please pray its all recovered.
Rest and blessings!

Summer is coming, and with it, a never ending list of “to-do’s”. Family vacations, outings with the church, work and leisure…Its all time consuming and even stressful at times, right? Between the long sighs and expressions of verbal disgust, find time to thank God for life. After all, he gave you breath to breathe (even if it is a sigh) So be thankful - and don’t forget to be still every once in a while and KNOW he is God…Even in business.
Rest and Blessings,
Katelyn
