Glue and Popsicle sticks

Let’s see if we can build a house
Let’s see if we can build a house of child fantasy
A house that wolves cannot blow down
A secret place, no giant knows

Let’s see if we can build a house
Let’s see if we can build a house of Popsicle sticks
A place where today is forever
A place where no one has to die

Let’s see if we can build a house
Let’s see if we can build a house with glue
Maybe we’ll paint it yellow - to keep everybody happy
Maybe God will call it his midnight star

Let’s see if we can build a house
Let’s see if we can make it last forever
Dreams are forgotten - and hideouts too
Dreams don’t have to fade – they just have to grow.
